Not Much Music

Did anyone else catch the MMVA's last week on tv? Why is it that when MuchMusic decides to have any kind of function, it has to be outdoors? I understand that it MAY provide more space for people to sit...er i mean stand (on top of each other! bloodclot)... but none the less, doesnt it seem like it takes away from the legitimacy of the show? Whats even worse I think are the "special entrances" the musicians have when they arrive at the show. Did any of you see that sh*t?? They had a guy ride in a motorcycle with 4 other people...all dressed in the same outfit, head covered with a dark helmet. The crowd waits in anticipation...oh who could this masked hero be??? he MUST be a REALLY important celeb to have such an entrance! The lead rider removes his helmet...he is finally revealed! Its...Its...











WHO THE F*CK IS THAT??????????????? MuchMusic could have hired any random jackass douchebag from a Woodbridge TimHortons on a saturday night parking lot and I wouldnt have known the difference! Like come on now...MuchMusic, why would you spend time and money to have who I eventually figured out was "Danny Fernandes" to have an entrance like that??? Let me put it to you this way...they could have shot a bum out of a cannon onto the front steps of the awards ceromony, and I would have had the same bewildered look on my face as to when I saw that helmet come off. Ok...Ok... I know you are probably thinking, "What have YOU done in your lifetime to make YOU better than Danny??" (I hate referring to that guy by his name by the way. I prefer to recognize him as "Helmeted Bum Dude or Phantom of the Opera") anyways... Im not saying Im in anyway shape or form better than him...BUT you also dont see me pulling into work everyday with my entourage of 4 bikers dressed in the same colors looking all mysterious, then when I take my helmet off everyones like.."OH HAYYYY GUYS LOOK!! its...that guy!!...*crickets chirping*" ... So yeah, I could go on forever but Ill end this off before "Danny" gets really pissed off and starts doing donuts on my driveway with his group of 4 bikers. So yeah... MuchMusic... stop doing that please. Its wack as fu*k.
